JavaScript Frameworks For New Programmers

This is a one to three week workshop aimed at code bootcamp students with at least 9 weeks of class time and some rudimentary understanding of basic JavaScript syntax. Learners will be able to build dynamic user interfaces using a small view library as well as learn foundational concepts which will enable them to compose any user interface that the web is capable of supporting. The techniques shown will work with any web stack, using any frontend build system.

Test Drive a Browser Game With Angular

This workshop will cover modern JavaScript development practices through improving an existing browser game. Students will gain hands on experience with JavaScript testing, writing modular software, and building a thick client web app.

Technologies used will include Jasmine, Lineman, Rails, and Angular; but they do not define the workshop. Skills earned here are applicable to any Web project.

The Angular JS Bootcamp

Get productive in Angular by building 3 small apps. Topics covered include bootstrapping, data binding, loops, ifs, filters, and binding to ui actions. In other words, everything you use to build anything in JavaScript.
